What ever happened to just reading a book and then writting up a summary? Book reports have come a long way, and I can't say that I'm thrilled about it. This is a bloom ball. We had to include a Hiaku about the book and research about the author. Hope we get an "A"!

i agree, and who's idea was it to have it due the day after mothers day? as if we'd all get it done early?
A Great Job! I can't believe all the work that is given to kids these days. . . as if that's all the parents have to do is help their kids with homework. What ever happened to the kind of work the kids can do for themselves. Kids can be more creative than teachers give them credit for sometimes.
