(Click on this one to see up close.)This nest is behind our house. We love watching the eagles take turns hunting, and often end up having the Discovery Channel right in out own backyard. They once caught a crow mid-flight and took it back to their nest...it was crazy!! We haven't seen any babies yet, but last year we got to watch as they learned how to fly!!

That is amazing!! How many other people can say that they have an eagle's nest in their backyard (or almost in their backyard)? Too cool!
You guys need to go on a kayak trip one day with us. We see eagles, blue herrings, deer, mink, etc. We went on our first trip this spring, last saturday. It was so beautiful and quiet.
